IS MORALITY AND INTEGRITY IMPORTANT IN A PRESIDENTAL CANDIDATE?

Blind ambition is a scary thing and when it is in a presidential candidate it is a frighting problem for the entire country. I'm not talking about a huge ego which certainly comes into play when one thinks they are qualified for the position of leading the most powerful country in the world.
What I am talking about is the lust for power and control for the feeding of that ego regardless of whether or not it is the best thing for the nation. Some of the candidates have more then one failed marriage others live in broken marriages. my question is If you can't manage to maintain your marriage and family how can you be trusted to manage an entire nation? If you can't be trusted to be faithful in your position in marriage and family how can you be trusted in such an important position as President of The United States? If you allow yourself or your spouse to abuse the sanctity of your marriage oath, how can we expect you to take seriously the sanctity of the oath of office?we need to really consider the moral and ethical standards of the candidates before we cast our votes in this presidential election. The lack of integrity in the way they manage other aspects of their lives will continue in the way they would manage our country.
Morality and integrity are still and always should be the way of measuring the core of a person.
history is full of the folly of immoral leaders who feed their own ambition and ego's at the cost of their nations. Rome fell because of the folly of the leaders who served their own ego's and ambitions. Take a deep, serious look at each candidate before you vote in the 2008 Presidential election. Don't let our nation pay the price for the lack of integrity and immorality of our next President. Don't let our nation suffer to feed the aggressive, blind ambition of someone who can't see beyond their own ideology and hunger for power. Vote wisely and with pride to be a part of the democratic process of this Great Nation!
